What else do I need to know about starting my Idaho psychology practice?
A licensed psychologist may want to form an Idaho business entity. Forming your Idaho business can be pretty easy. Idaho does not require psychologists to set up any particular type of entity. Each entity offers different benefits and protections for psychologists. In addition to standard corporations and limited liability companies, an Idaho psychologist may choose to form a professional corporation (PC) or professional limited liability company (PLLC). These entities allow licensed individuals to form a corporation or LLC for the purpose of practicing their profession. Shareholders must also be licensed to render the service or an allied service.
Idaho does not require businesses to indicate the type of business they perform in the business name.
